Intel Maps Privacy Policy
Intel Maps ("we", "us", "Intel Maps", operated by Intel Maps) provides forensic visualization tools for the TON blockchain at intelmaps.io. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.
1. Information we collect
When you sign up with email: your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plaintext.
When you sign up with Telegram: your Telegram user ID, username, first name, and profile photo URL as provided by Telegram. We do not see, store, or have access to your Telegram messages or contacts.
When you use the product: the contract addresses you query, the maps you generate, the API endpoints you hit for paid plans, and timestamps. For anonymous browsing we collect a coarse fingerprint, hashed, for rate-limiting and abuse prevention, not your IP in cleartext.
When you contact us: your message and the email address you sent it from.
We do not collect: full IP addresses, browser cookies for ad targeting, device IDs, geolocation, or any data from third-party advertising networks. We do not embed Google Analytics or any third-party tracking script on product pages.
2. How we use your data
- Provide the product, including rendering maps, gating tiers, and metering usage.
- Send transactional emails such as account creation, password reset, and billing.
- Send product update emails only if you opted in at signup.
- Reach out about partnership, enterprise, or beta features only if you opted in at signup.
- Investigate abuse, including rate-limit violations, scraping, and malicious queries.
- Comply with legal obligations such as subpoenas and court orders.
3. Who we share data with
We share the minimum necessary with payment processors such as Stripe for paid plans, email delivery providers such as Postmark or Resend for transactional and opt-in marketing, infrastructure providers such as DigitalOcean, and law enforcement when legally compelled. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.
4. The data we publish
Map data is derived from the public TON blockchain. We never publish wallet addresses of KOLs tracked in our system; their addresses are converted to opaque identifiers. Aggregate cluster statistics are public.
When you query a token, the token's contract address is logged as part of our long-tail catalog growth. We record that someone queried it and when, but not who. We store only an anonymized fingerprint with the query, separated from your account.
5. How long we keep your data
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Query history tied to your account: until you delete your account.
- Anonymous query fingerprints: 90 days, then purged.
- Consent audit log: indefinitely for legal defensibility.
- Backups: rotated every 30 days.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use a single first-party session cookie, intelmaps_session, to keep you logged in. We use browser localStorage for UI state such as welcome modal dismissal and theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You can access the data we hold on you, correct your email or consent preferences, delete your account, export a JSON dump of your account data, and withdraw consent for marketing emails or outbound reach at any time via account settings.
EU users: we rely on consent for marketing email and outbound reach, and legitimate interest for abuse prevention and product analytics. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. California users: we comply with the CCPA. We do not sell personal information.
8. Security
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt cost factor 12.
- Database connections use TLS.
- The product surface is served over HTTPS with HSTS.
- We use opaque session tokens, not JWT, for revocability.
- We perform no PCI-scope card data handling; payment is delegated to Stripe.
9. Children
Intel Maps is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes by email and via an in-product banner. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance, except for new data uses, which require explicit re-consent.
